Florida Atlantic University's Division of Student Affairs is the heart of the University. The Division is comprised of over 20 departments that serve the students through cultivating a sense of belonging, supporting wellbeing practices, and creating opportunities for career skill development.

From FAU Student to FAU Staff
As a student I interned as a Graphic Designer in the Division of Student Affairs Marketing office. Upon graduating in 2016 I became the Digital Marketing Manager, I was the eyes and ears of the division. I managed social media calendars across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube for the main divisional accounts @FAUStudents. I successfully produced and edited over 40 promotional and journalistic recap videos. Collaborating closely with other Student Affairs Staff, I devised real-time social media strategies for cross departmental campaigns and events. Over the academic year, I monitored more than 50 Student Affairs brand accounts, actively engaging the target audience and generating interest in various events and services provided by Student Affairs. I implemented platform-specific organic social media growth plans and made significant contributions to the development of paid social media campaigns. Monitoring ROI through monthly analytical reports, I provided valuable department updates on paid digital marketing campaigns. Additionally, I created educational materials and conducted training sessions on marketing and social media best practices, while continuously researching and recommending new social media best practices, platforms, and tools when necessary.
